The One with the Nürnberger Christkindlesmarkt

The Christmas markets here in Germany are everything they were hyped up to be, and more! They'll put you in the spirit of Christmas is .023985463 seconds flat!
With about two million visitors a year the Nürnberger Christkindlesmarkt is one of the largest Christmas markets in Germany and one of the most famous in the world. So that's where we decided to go last weekend!

It had been cold and foggy the past four or five days and the sun finally came out and graced us with is presence and made me so happy!
Beautiful sunset. Pink cotton candy clouds.

Finding a parking spot was... interesting... to say the least. But we found a parking garage and all's well that ends well! We unloaded out of the car and walked a few blocks to the main square.
This'll mostly just be pretty pictures to look at!

Holy moly it was c.r.o.w.d.e.d. Like, more people than I've ever seen at Disneyland crowded, and that's saying something!
The Holy Ghost Hospital. There were tons of birds floating on the water.
Such a welcome sight to see!
So Christmasy!

I walked up a flight of stairs to a restaurant to get a view of the entire market.
The following are pictures from the internet of the Nürnberger Christkindlesmarkt since I haven't figured out how to use my camera to its full potential but I want you to see what I really saw!

Back to my pictures: the Frauenkirche church where a choir was singing out front.

Trinkets galore!

I suggested we buy an ornament from every Christmas market we go to, but then I was too overwhelmed with choices!

Say cheese!
Horse drawn carriage - that would be so fun!

A trio of horn players playing.
Listen.

I want to take a more active approach to get myself and our family in our pictures.
Here's Chris and Jane in line to get us some dinner. Chris will have to come back and say what it is because I've forgotten - it's not something you eat everyday in 'Murica!
Fox's eyes look so green in this picture! And despite what her face is saying, Jane liked the thingamabob we ate.

Nom nom nom.
We saw all that we came to see and felt our Christmas spirits lifted.
We love Christmastime in Germany!
