The One with Installations by Şakir Gökçebağ

I'm a fan of unusual art/modern art/the kind of art that makes you think "why didn't I think of that"?
Always have been.
Probably always will be.
I saw these installations from Şakir Gökçebağ (say that ten times fast!) and fell instantly in love.
Who knew toilet paper could look so... pretty?
Shoe laces arranged intricately.
Fun stuff.

Fun! There was a similar exhibit at the MOA a few years ago by an artist named Dan Steinhilber, and that was one of my favorites.

Wow, those are amazing! I'm always wondering how artists even start thinking about doing stuff like this. Thanks for sharing!
